Delete your Cozy Fishing account

Cozy Fishing is a game by Rich Uncle Studio. You can delete your account and its data at any time: in the game, or by writing to us if you no longer have the game.

In the game

1. Open the gear in the top right corner.
2. Tap Account, then Delete account.
3. Tap Delete forever. If you signed in with Google or Apple, sign in once more to confirm.

The account is deleted at once, and the game goes back to its start screen.

Without the game

Write to support@richunclestudio.com from the email of the Google or Apple account you signed in with, with the subject "Delete my Cozy Fishing account". We delete the account within how many days and write back when it is done.

a guest (never signed in with Google or Apple) is known only by the phone's game install: say how a guest without the game can ask, or that a guest account holds nothing personal

What is deleted

At once, when the account is deleted:

• your email, birth date, country and player name;
• your Google and Apple sign-ins and every session on every device;
• the address your devices receive notifications at.

What is kept, and for how long

• Game records (fish, items, the money log) stay in the game's books, no longer linked to you or to anything that identifies you. confirm, or say they are deleted too
• A security record that the account was deleted: when, the device's id and the IP address, kept for how many days against fraud and abuse.
• Backups: copies of the game's database are kept for up to 30 days; deleted data leaves them as they expire.
